| This website has been created to introduce members of our family to their rich heritage. Years of genealogical research has been combined with historical events in order to attempt to provide a more complete picture of the individuals that made our lives possible. No matter how far removed one is from an ancestor, they are each as much a part of us as our mother or our father and if you remove just one, we would never have existed. Had even one of them not existed in our genealogy, we ourselves would not exist today. We must be able to see that their lives were as full as ours today, they shared the same passions, many of the same fears and hopes and dreams as we do today in our own lives. Some of them were worthy of importance in history but most were ordinary people leading ordinary lives; hard working people with homes and children just as we have today. We know for a fact that each of them had childhoods and that each of them knew love and knew what it was to have children and grandchildren. We know that they had days they did not feel well, that they laughed and cried; that they knew what it was to lose someone they loved and that we share more than a blood relationship with them. We share our humanity. | ![]() |
